Hyperhidrosis( excess sweating) is a medical condition characterized by excessive sweating, which can occur in any area of the body, including the underarms, hands, feet, and face. It is caused by overactive sweat glands and can be a source of embarrassment and social discomfort.
There are several treatment options available for hyperhidrosis, including:
antiperspirants: these are topical products that can be applied to the skin to reduce sweating. They contain aluminum chloride which blocks sweat glands.

Botox: botox is a neurotoxin that can be injected into the affected area to block the signals that trigger sweat production. It's approved by FDA for the treatment of axillary hyperhidrosis (underarms)

Ionophoresis: this is a non-invasive procedure that uses a low-voltage electrical current to temporarily block sweat gland activity.

Oral medications: anticholinergic medications can be taken orally to reduce sweating.

Surgery: in extreme cases, surgery may be recommended to remove the sweat glands from the affected area.
